It details a life I can honestly relate to myself as a mentally ill queer adult who still hasn’t had sex yet either. There is also sequel (My Solo Exchange Diary) but I have yet to read it, tho i’m sure its just as good so check that out too.

Bloom Into You by Nakatani Nio
-A slow-burn, poignant yuri that will tug at your heartstrings. Also has a brilliant anime.
Notes:
I realise a lot of these r not manga but honestly a lot of webtoons/manhwa r good as they have actual adult relationships. A lot of yuri manga is focused on school girls which is fine but as I’m an adult now I prefer to read about ppl my own age. However, I have a soft spot for some younger-themed yuri as I imagine what it would have been like had I had such a school life. Ah, the wasted years…
As u can probs tell, I prefer lighter-themed manga-with some exceptions (Citrus & Bloom Into You i’m lookin at u)-and a good dose of comedy. I like fluffy slice of life but sometimes want a more sexually-charged read. It depends tbh.
Anyway, I still have a lot more yuri to read so will probs do a part 2 to this sometime in the future. Look out for it!
